Marc and I have been working on the We Know About Marc and I have been working on the We Know About You edit on and off for the past month… These latest glimpses offer a peek into a deeply personal project, with one of the featured stills taken from the emotional climax of the video. The featured stills focus on the Teenager version of the story’s main character and his mum. Although during the process I have detached myself from the video’s story, it’s still been enjoyable, emotional, and rewarding for myself and all involved. Feedback from fellow video makers, stakeholders and Editors has been warmly welcomed and genuinely valuable in steering the edit and content in the right direction. The project is now complete and I'm left feeling really excited about what we now have. The momentum this will create for the bands comeback next year will make it start to feel real, exciting times ahead…. I’m eternally grateful to Marc who took the ‘brief’ and shaped the songs story into moving images in a way that I could not envisage and appreciated that ultimately the video is a tribute. “It’ll make sense in the end” - The video release of We Know About You will be early October

CAST INTRODUCTION — EMMA (Keira Savage) Meet Emma CAST INTRODUCTION — EMMA (Keira Savage) Meet Emma — the heart of Got to Be Certain. Played by Keira Savage, Emma is the emotional centre of the story: warm, hopeful, quietly brave, and caught between the music she loves and the feelings she’s terrified to confront. She’s the kind of character who doesn’t just lead the film — she holds it together. Emma’s journey is one of honesty, courage, and connection. She brings out the best (and sometimes the worst) in the people around her — sparking Will’s chaos, grounding Josh’s calm, and finding her truest self through Chloe’s fierce loyalty. And through it all, Emma brings her art alive — the music, the emotion, the vulnerability — turning every moment into something real, raw, and beautifully human. Keira delivers a performance full of vulnerability, humour, and Northern authenticity. She is the spark that makes the film’s emotional beats land. Emma is the story. Emma is the heart. Emma is the reason everything changes. Grab your tickets now, as they are limited. https://pay.collctiv.com/got-to-be-certain-premiere-78295 Watch the trailer --> https://youtu.be/75rPjfTBNnw #EmmaG2BC, #KeiraSavage, #GotToBeCertain, #DoubleSixProductions, #IndieFilmUK, #NorthWestFilm, #RomanticDrama, #MusicDrivenStory, #FilmPremiere2026, #BritishIndieFilm, #DalaneBand
Great first day filming the We Know About You musi Great first day filming the We Know About You music video.
CAST INTRODUCTION — WILL (Ted Morris) Meet Will — CAST INTRODUCTION — WILL (Ted Morris) Meet Will — Dalane’s lead singer, and the beautiful chaos at the centre of Got to Be Certain. He’s magnetic, infuriating, impossible to ignore — the kind of frontman who can command a room with a grin, a lyric, or a single glance. Will brings charm in spades, but it’s the chaos underneath that makes him compelling: the impulsive decisions, the emotional blind spots, the moments where confidence slips and something real breaks through. He’s the spark that ignites the band and the storm Emma never quite sees coming. Behind the swagger sits a young man wrestling with loyalty, desire, and the weight of being the one everyone looks at — and the one who doesn’t always know what to do with that attention. Ted Morris brings Will to life with a performance full of electricity: messy, charismatic, and heartbreakingly human. CASTING INTRODUCTION — JOSH Meet Josh, played by @ CASTING INTRODUCTION — JOSH Meet Josh, played by @fraser_c07 — the band’s drummer and quiet heartbeat. Bisexual, warm, and grounded, he’s the calm in the chaos — the one who listens before he speaks, and when he does, it matters. Josh brings a steadying presence to the group, the emotional anchor who keeps everyone from spinning out when tensions rise. He’s Will’s best friend, but that loyalty gets tested as the story unfolds — torn between protecting the people he loves and facing truths that could shake the band’s foundation. Josh doesn’t chase the spotlight; he holds it steady for others. His humour is dry, his loyalty deep, and his silence often says more than words ever could. Played with quiet intensity and emotional truth, Josh is the grounding force that makes the band — and the story — whole. Working on the next project. An emotional music vi Working on the next project. An emotional music video for Matthew Parkinson band MBL. I've really enjoyed disecting the lyrics and coming uo with visuals for this beautiful 90s song. Looking forward to filming in a few weeks.
CASTING INTRODUCTION — CHLOE. Meet Chloe — the fri CASTING INTRODUCTION — CHLOE. Meet Chloe — the friend everyone wishes they had. @gem.bx brings Chloe to life with humour, heart, and a fearless honesty that makes every scene pulse. Sharp, loyal, and emotionally switched on, she’s the one who calls it exactly as she sees it — no sugar‑coating, no hesitation. Chloe brings out Emma’s spark: the sillier, braver, more honest version of herself. And when everything falls apart, she’s the person Emma collapses into. She’s the grounding force in the group — the one who reads the room before anyone else does. With history that ties her to Will and Josh, her loyalty sits firmly with Emma. Warm, witty, and socially fearless, Chloe is protective of the people she loves and unafraid to intervene when the dynamic shifts. She’s the heartbeat of the story — the truth‑teller, the anchor, the laugh that cuts through the chaos. Meet Sophia played by @emma.obrien_1 — our caffein Meet Sophia played by @emma.obrien_1 — our caffeinated guiding light. Emma’s boss, a new mum, and the woman who somehow keeps the whole café (and Emma) standing when life gets messy. She’s juggling work, motherhood, and the chaos in between — and yes, she’s navigating those very real “new‑mum moments,” including being a bit leaky at work and laughing her way through it. Sophia brings humour, honesty, and the kind of advice that lands exactly when Emma needs it most. She’s the slightly older, steadier voice in Emma’s world — the raised eyebrow, the knowing smile, the gentle nudge in the right direction. Say hello to Sophia. She’s real, she’s layered, and she’s the kind of character who makes the story feel lived‑in.
CAST INTRODUCTION — Got to Be Certain Meet Liam, CAST INTRODUCTION — Got to Be Certain Meet Liam, played by Jalel Ghribi, the guitarist of Dalane — the heartbeat of the band’s energy on stage, and the quiet soul once the lights fade. On stage, Liam is all power: driving riffs, electric presence, and the kind of intensity that lifts every performance. But off stage, he’s the calm one. Soft‑spoken. Thoughtful. The steady presence who keeps the group grounded when the noise dies down. It’s this contrast — fire in the spotlight, stillness in the wings — that makes Liam such a compelling part of Dalane’s story. His performance brings depth, warmth, and a quiet strength to Got to Be Certain. ✨ A powerhouse when he plays. A gentle soul when he doesn’t.
